Here is the entire text from Ismailer's communication:
Dear Team—
I know you all just finished your gathering - I hope you’re as enthusiastic as I am with the good news. Previously I sent you all a update, I mentioned the following: “I believe in this team. You all are some of the most motivated and innovative creators we have had the chance to collaborate with - and we’re excited for that relationship to endure.”
Given your hard work and versatility, particularly over the past twelve months, you continue to prove that.
The gamer responses from last autumn’s Project ETHOS playtest was enlightening. It validated the potential of a roguelike shooter but told us we still had improvements to make. It highlighted the need for a clearer identity.
It has been motivating to see how far you’ve come. You took the feedback to mind and reimagined the title with a refreshed goal - one that’s ready to fulfill its potential to our audience.
The belief in this project grows every day. To advance the remarkable progress you’ve made, I am thrilled to welcome the new hire as the new Studio Head of the team. After several months of discussions, Ben comes aboard us on Monday, October 20.
His guidance and background in the PVP shooter field is extensive, having dedicated the last 15 years creating and overseeing some of the most popular franchises in gaming, for example Call of Duty: Black Ops, and more recently, Apex Legends.
I invite you all in welcoming Ben in the coming days. We are all excited to keep witnessing the evolution of the game in the months to come.
David

Project Ethos was revealed in last year alongside a community playtest. At the time, 31st Union described the title as a "no-cost, 3rd-person action-packed experience and an innovative advancement on the genre."
"Build your perfect run—or die trying—in this 3rd-person action shooter! Customize your character in live gameplay to suit your personal playstyle," the game's pitch reads. "Face the opponents with unique powers, risks, and obstacles that shift every round. Will you leave securely with your collected items? Alternatively aim high, put it on the line, and trust your group can secure victory? The choice is in your hands."
Project Ethos does not have an official launch window or platforms, but players can expect more updates as creation advances.
